Taumata Racer®

If you're looking for the biggest thrill in the park, you've found it. Meet Taumata, a high-speed competitive mat ride where eight racers rip down a staggeringly steep hill, head first.

Here's a piece of trivia for you. Taumata is short for a place name that is 84 letters long, putting it in the Guinness Book of World Records. Clock a fast enough time down this hill, and you might just find yourself in there too.

Be glad you never saw this one on a spelling bee: Tetaumatawhakatangihangakoauaotamateaurehaeaturipukapihimaungahor-
onukupokaiwhenuaakitanatahu, whew!
